The Star Valley Wyoming Temple is a planned temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be constructed in Star Valley, Wyoming.[1] Star Valley is in Lincoln County which has the highest percentage of Latter-Day Saints in Wyoming. The announcement was made by President Thomas S. Monson on October 1, 2011.[1] The temple was announced concurrently with Barranquilla Colombia, Durban South Africa, Kinshasa Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Provo Utah Tabernacle temples.[1] Together, they bring the total number of temples worldwide to 166. This is the first temple to be built in Wyoming.

No official announcement as to the temple's planned location or construction schedule has been made.
